REQUIRE AN EXPERIENCED – STORES COORDINATOR
£20,000.00 to £20,800.00 DOE
12 week temp to permanent contract.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday
8 am – 5 pm (8 am to 2 pm Friday)
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Stores Person (preferably from an Engineering background) with counterbalance fork lift licence.
Engineering product knowledge is essential to this role, coming from an engineering background and being familiar with consumables related to stairwells, balustrades, handrails, and various construction related projects will be key to successfully co coordinating this fast paced store adjoined to the factory.
You must be able to deal with demands at short notice, have the ability to keep product flow onto each site (including England).
Dealing with suppliers, pricing & buying products.
Processing purchase orders and issuing to suppliers in a timely manner.
Issuing Purchase orders to the despatch office against the incoming goods list on a daily basis.
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
Making and taking telephone calls in relation to suppliers, transport etc., and dealing with suppliers and customers in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
Ensuring paperwork received from suppliers is complete and legible.
Assisting with Processing goods inwards on the computer, ensuring that the same is carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
Communicate with warehouse function in relation to the movement of stocks ensuring that paperwork and records are completed correctly.
Preparing and completing the daily invoice run.
Maintaining a full and complete record of scanned documents.
Filing/Scanning of Sales and Purchase Invoices, Quotations, Despatch Notes, Test Certificates and Correspondence.
Collate invoices and other correspondence, and prepare for posting.
Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Liaise with the sales office and finance department as required.
At least 3 years experience in Stores/Line fitting, preferably in an Engineering environment.
COUNTERBALANCE FORK LIFT LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL.
Computer literacy, excellent organisational skills, trade counter experience.
Good telephone manner, excellent interpersonal skills.
A valid COUNTER BALANCE FORK LIFT LICENCE IS REQUIRED.
Previous stores experience is essential, preferably within an engineering environment.
Experience of inputting onto computer systems, key board skills.
Experience of picking orders and feeding them to factory floor.
