HGV Drivers: Category ‘C’

Base Location: Belfast, Garvagh & Portadown
We are currently looking for HGV Drivers (C) to join our busy teams at our sites in Duncrue, Garvagh and Portadown.
WHAT WE OFFER!
Evening shift (3pm start) attracts premium rate of £13.50/hr
Generous retention scheme of £3250 per year (pro rata payment based on start date)
Overtime & bank holiday rate of 1.5 (£17.25) for hours worked over 45 hours/wk
28 days annual leave

As a Driver you will be required to complete multi drop deliveries and collections throughout NI.
The Driver will also be required to collect and move commercial containers when required. Roles & Responsibilities
Excellent customer service skills that support the company brand.
Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times
Complete vehicle checks in line with Operating licence procedures, reporting any defects to the Transport Office (both electronically and verbally)
Following all regulations relating to driver’s hours and safe operation of heavy goods vehicles
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Undertake all necessary training, & cooperate with the security clearance process as required
Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department Essential Criteria
Must hold a valid HGV licence – Category ‘C’,
Must hold a Digital Tachogragh card and Full Driver CPC
Minimum of 1 years HGV driving experience
Full UK Driving Licence (Max of 6 penalty points)
Ability to undertake manual work
Flexible approach to working hours as weekends and Bank Holidays will be required
Excellent customer service skills
Good Communication skills (both verbal and written)
Good Knowledge of driver’s hours, rules and regulations
Previous experience of working in the waste industry would be advantageous.
