Our Client, a leading packaging company based in Bangor are looking for an experience Machine Operator to join their expanding team.

Hours of Work:
Shifts are rotational (weekly basis). You must be available to work all 3 shifts.
Days –
6 am – 2 pm Monday to Thursday
6 am – 1 pm Friday
Evenings –
2 pm – 10.30 pm Monday to Thursday
1 pm – 6 pm Friday
Nights –
Sunday – 9 pm to 6 am
Monday – Thursday 10.30 pm to 6 am
Hourly Rate:
During 12 week probationary period
£9.50 per hour + 28% shift bonus = £12.16 per hour
After probationary period
£10.50 per hour +28% shift bonus = £13.44 per hour
Job Duties:
Maintaining the factory machinery
Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of machines
Carrying out routine maintenance
Fixing machines that have broken down
Ensuring enough raw materials are fed into the machines
Conducting periodic checks on output efficiency
Occasionally removing and packing finished products
Operating numerous machines
Meeting targets to ensure that orders are met
Working as part of a team
Criteria:
Experience working as a Machine Operator (1 year+)
Problem solving skills
Decision making skills
Concentration
Attention to detail
Teamwork
Able to follow instructions and production schedules
Able to act quickly when a problem arises
